Renzo A. Cerabino is a Vice President and Senior Wealth Strategist of Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth®, a business dedicated to serving the needs of individuals and families with investable assets in excess of $20 million. Renzo leads the planning process, integrating clients’ financial, estate, tax and philanthropic considerations and preferences. Renzo works closely with Hawthorn Relationship Strategists, Investment Advisors, Fiduciary Advisors and other advisors to deliver the Hawthorn integrated wealth management experience to a limited number of families and individuals.

Prior to joining Hawthorn, Renzo was a corporate attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions as well as holding financial planning, wealth management and portfolio management positions at M&T Bank, Merrill Lynch and Bank of New York Mellon. Renzo has over 15 years of experience in the financial services field advising clients on complex wealth transfer strategies, providing guidance on business succession issues, and developing and implementing comprehensive, customized wealth plans for ultra high net worth individuals.

Renzo is a member of the advisory board of The Germination Project, The Drexel LeBow Institute for Strategic Leadership and the board of directors of Spring-Ford Counseling Services. He is a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Counsel, the Philadelphia Bar and the Union League of Philadelphia. He has published articles on topics such as asset protection planning for physicians and the tax implications of divorce. He is also a guest lecturer for continuing education seminars on estate tax and related topics.  

Renzo earned a Bachelors of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, a Juris Doctor from Villanova University’s School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from the Villanova University School of Commerce and Finance. Renzo is also a Certified Financial Planner ®.
