Nicole M. Islinger serves as a Shareholder at Vedder Price in the Corporate practice area and Finance & Transactions group in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Ms. Islinger focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions; complex commercial transactions, including technology and government contracts; and general business law. Ms. Islinger frequently acts as general counsel to clients with either no or limited internal legal resources, providing advice for all aspects of the business from start-up through transition services to steady-state contracting.

Ms. Islinger joined Vedder Price after holding in-house positions with two large international corporations. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Ms. Islinger managed an international team of attorneys working on complex technology and outsourcing matters in government, health care and commercial sectors. Ms. Islinger also served as Senior Counsel at BASF Corporation where she represented all aspects of a $2 billion international business unit drafting distribution and vendor agreements, supply and customer contracts and various other commercial contracting arrangements.

Prior to her in-house roles, Ms. Islinger spent over 10 years in private practice at various international law firms specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with a focus on government contracting and technology. In addition to negotiating and drafting complex purchase agreements, she worked extensively on private equity and venture finance transactions and prepared periodic filings required by the SEC.
