Bob Sprague is founder and co-owner of Yes&, the DC-based marketing agency that delivers a full suite of capabilities to commercial, association, and government clients.  He guides the company – an award-winning provider of communications strategies and services – through myriad marketing, branding, advertising, public relations, outreach, crisis communications, event, video, and copywriting projects each year.  Among the clients of Yes& are Choice Hotels, Windsor Properties, Dell EMC, ASAE, the National Council on Behavioral Health, Easterseals, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The company existed as a boutique agency for more than 32 years. In 2017 Bob initiated a series of acquisitions designed to provide clients with the broader digital marketing solutions they needed. After five acquisitions the company has reached 75 team members and is ranked as the fourth-largest advertising agency in the region.  Yes& was awarded Inc. 5000 ranking for fastest-growing privately held companies in 2018 and again in 2019, while also being recognized with Corporate Philanthropy Awards for both dollars and hours by Washington Business Journal in the same two years.

As a communications strategist, Bob develops communications and marketing plans while leading market research, analyzing key audiences, developing key messages, and recommending vehicles and channels.  As a consultant, he has provided boardroom-level advice and key language for organizations in crisis or transition.  As a writer, producer, and author, he develops scripts, speeches, taglines, ad copy, and articles.  Through his nearly 35 years of experience Bob has developed expertise in healthcare, financial services, homeland security, and hospitality verticals along with employee engagement, crisis communications, and agile methodologies. He is author of articles in national publications on precision marketing and employee engagement.

Bob began his career as a professional musician, traveling United Way, the American Red Cross, McDonalds, and Subaru.
